QTC Chapter 7 Kegan Butler

1. The reason you remember a party differently than a friend who attended the same event could be attributed to _________________.
2.   Give a specific example of an authentic activity for problem-based learning and project-based learning that you would use in your future classroom.

  1. 1. reconstruction error

    2. Problem-based: Kindergarten students are pretending that they are workers in a toy factory. They will be divided into small groups and given a box of "toy parts" (differently shaped blocks). They must separate the blocks according to shape, and count each one. They will then record how many of each shape they have.

Project-based: Students will be assigned a US president. They will gather information about that president, and then design a presentation to showcase their assigned president to the class, and persuade the other students to vote for their president. After all of the presentations are complete, each student will vote on someone else's president to see who wins the "election."
